Laura Longsworth is a director, writer, producer and videographer. Her passion for storytelling began with newspaper reporting and photography and grew into documentary filmmaking as a way to tell visual stories.

Laura’s documentary LUCKEY premiered at IDFA and played at SXSW, among other festivals, and on the Sundance Channel. She co-produced The Last Mountain, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Laura also produced and co-produced numerous documentaries for public television. Films she worked on have appeared on American Experience, American Masters, and Frontline.

These days, Laura often shoots her own work.
